Philippine Army Continues Search for Missing Cessna 152 Aircraft as Reports of Crash Site Prove Inconclusive

The Philippine Army has clarified the current search situation in relation to the ongoing search for the missing Cessna 152 aircraft. No wreckage or victims have yet been discovered, despite earlier reports suggesting a potential crash site within Luna and Pudtol's borders.

The Apayao Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) had earlier mentioned the likelihood of a crash site in either Brgy. Salvacion, Luna, or Brgy. Mariano, Pudtol. A search and rescue effort was launched after the plane, which was headed for Tuguegarao, took off from Loag and missing.

The search crews, however, were unable to find any physical signs of a crash when they arrived at the stated areas. The Philippine Army is investigating several surrounding places as prospective locations for the jet wreckage because there is no wreckage or any indication of impact at these spots.

The authorities are steadfastly dedicated to discovering the missing aircraft and its people as the search goes on. As the inquiry progresses and as new information becomes available, updates on the situation will be given.
