IndiGo passenger and crew member engage in argument over airline meal

A crew member of IndiGo, a low-cost Indian airline, was involved in a heated argument with a passenger over meal options during a flight from Istanbul to Delhi on December 16. According to The Indian Express, the incident went viral online.

The passenger requested a sandwich, and the employees told him they would see whether it was available, according to the British newspaper Daily Mail. A crew member began to cry as a result of the man's yelling and escalating anger.

A video of the incident was posted on Twitter, which showed an air stewardess confronting the passenger and informing him that her colleague was in tears because of him.

"You pointed a finger at me and yelled," she told the passenger.

Flying can be a stressful experience and disagreements can arise in the air, even at 20,000 feet.
