Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, will face a number of challenges in the future, according to Elon Musk Prediction

The world CEO believes that the Wagner mercenary group's uprising has thrown into question the authority of the Russian president.

His allies, including China, understood they could rely on his power and control over his country and the former USSR satellite states. Like the West, his foes searched for his weaknesses but failed to uncover any. Vladimir Putin portrayed himself as a powerful man for many years.

However, on June 24, a guy who had been a longtime supporter of the Kremlin strongman witnessed his position of power and his imposing reputation being challenged in a matter of hours.

The paramilitary group Wagner's leader, Yevgeny V. Prigozhin, oversaw a revolt against Russian military might for a full day. His forces marched toward Moscow after seizing control of Rostov-on-Don, a key headquarters for the Russian command in its operations in Ukraine, sparking concerns about a scenario in which Putin might be overthrown.

However, an equally remarkable turn of events unfolded shortly after the revolt. A deal between Putin and Prigozhin was successfully mediated by Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of Belarus and ardent Putin admirer. When Prigozhin went to Belarus, the criminal charges brought against him in Moscow were dropped, and Wagner's mercenaries were totally absolved of any responsibility.

Elon Musk's Comment

The narrative doesn't conclude here for the SpaceX founder, whose Starlink offering serves as the sole communication system for Ukrainian forces on the frontline. Along with potential occurrences akin to Wagner's rebellion within Russia, it is likely that more breakthroughs will take place.

Musk routinely converses on Twitter with Billy Markus, the co-founder of the dogecoin cryptocurrency, who compared the Russian military coup plot to a more depressing outcome than Game of Thrones, as he said on June 24.

Musk commented, " suspect there are a few more episodes to go".

The Tesla CEO expanded on this idea in a subsequent Twitter conversation and expressed his conviction that there is no going back at this point. Putin won't be able to effectively regain his power because the harm has already been done. Prigozhin's actions exposed his weaknesses, and it's probable that others will do the same.

Twitter user: "It's worth noting that unless Putin can neutralize Wagner in the near future, there is nothing preventing a repetition of this scenario or at least a threat of it." They continued, "I can't imagine Putin not working to undermine Wagner's leadership and influence in the coming days. It poses a significant threat to his authority, doesn't it?"

For Musk, "the die is cast."

In essence, it is inevitable that there will be further challenges to Putin's power and authority.

Musk tweeted, "Don't even trust nobody," with an accompanying graphic showing a man pointing a gun at his own mirror image, with both people displaying the Russian flag on their foreheads.

The tech magnate had previously offered guidance based on his knowledge of the circumstances in Russia.

Musk seemed to be saying that trust is hard to come by in Russia and that the country's environment is similar to a dangerous snake pit.

Wagner was a key player in the Kremlin's battle in Ukraine before he rebelled against Putin.

Recent attacks on the city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine were carried out by this mercenary organization. A common perception of Prigozhin, who enlisted members from jails, is that he represents Russia's involvement in the war. In 2014, during Russia's annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, the paramilitary Wagner Group first manifested itself under his direction.

Prigozhin, however, has turned against the Russian military's top brass recently, accusing the generals of being incompetent. Additionally, he condemned them for their insufficient supply of weaponry to his forces and their disdain for the safety of the men.
